Well, here I go!
This has been a long time coming, but I'm finally making a website of my own to properly display my photos and have the option to purchase prints, downloads, specialty items and more. I've been overwhelmed, humbled and honored to have so many friends and also folks I've never met reach out to me and tell me that they've enjoyed my work. I do it for myself, of course, because I've had a passion for photo and video my whole life. But when it somehow touches others on whatever level, then it becomes more special.
I thank you for checking in on me and letting me share how I see the world around me. If you might be interested in having me take your family photos, senior portraits, newborns, commercial work or whatever, I'd love to hear from you.
I've had many people ask me what kind of cameras I use and I have to say, they are all entry-level DSLRs. That's a fancy term for cameras that have interchangable lenses (think old-school 35mm film cameras...only now digital) But note that I said entry level. I shoot Nikon D5100. If I had the budget, I'd buy higher level cameras because I like to tinker, but I truly believe it's what you do with it that counts and I think you can make beautiful photos with any camera. I do process most shots in Photoshop and I LOVE my Topaz Labs filters. Other than that, it takes patience, preparation (have your camera with you all the time) and the willingness to stop whatever you're doing and take the photo that happens to be in front of you. Don't pass them by. You can get where you're going a minute or two later, but that photo will be gone if you don't take it.
So again, thanks for your interest... I hope you like most of what you see here.
